Morhulin Cream, previously Ointment, is a dual action nappy cream containing zinc oxide, a known barrier cream, enhanced with the natural benefit of cod liver oil, which promotes the healing of wounds, whilst soothing and moisturising the skin.
Morhulin Cream is a tried and trusted treatment for nappy rash, which has been used by parents for many years. Morhulin is a dual action nappy cream containing zinc oxide, a known barrier cream, enhanced with the natural benefit of cod liver oil, which promotes the healing of wounds, whilst soothing and moisturising the skin. Cod Liver Oil contains a natural source of vitamin A and glyceryl ethers which promote the healing of wounds. Zinc Oxide helps removes dead skin tissue from wounds and has an established value in the treatment of minor skin wounds. Morhulin won't stain your clothing and has a rich luxurious feel which is kind to your baby's skin. Top tips for preventing nappy rash By following good skincare routines you can help prevent your baby from developing nappy rash. Leave the nappy off as much as possible which helps the skin stay dry and allows fresh air to get into the skin Change the nappy regularly to avoid contact with faeces or urine Apply a suitable barrier cream or ointment such as Morhulin zinc oxide after each nappy change, to help reduce the contact your baby's skin has with urine and faeces Avoid using soaps when cleaning the nappy area as they can irritate the skin. Water alone is best or if you are out and about, a wet wipe without alcohol is a good alternative Use soft material such as cotton wool when wiping the skin and dry your baby's bottom by patting (not rubbing) it with a towel Don't use powders such as talcum powder when changing your baby's nappy because unlike a barrier cream, it doesn't offer any protection from urine and faeces and it can also cause friction and irritate your baby's skin
