Maalox Suspension

Maalox Suspension provides fast acting relief of heartburn, gas, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhoea and cramps due to diarrhoea.
Maalox Suspension provides relief of moderate symptoms of burning sensation in the stomach or chest area with accompanying bloating and/or gas pain that usually occurs after a meal. Maalox Suspension is an antacid suspension that provides fast, effective relief in two ways. An antacid neutralises excess stomach acid and an anti-gas ingredient reduces gas pain and pressure. Maalox Suspension is a creamy suspension, with a great tasting flavour and a pleasant aftertaste.
Directions
Adults and children aged over 12 years: Take 2-4 5ml spoonfuls four times a day or as directed. Children under 12 years: Not recommended. Shake suspension well before using. Do not take more than 16 spoonfuls in 24 hours
Warnings
Do not take more than 16 spoonfuls in 24 hours. Do not take Maalox Suspension for more than 2 weeks. Do not take this within 2 hours of other medication because it may reduce effectiveness of other products. Consult your doctor if you suffer from kidney disease or intestinal obstruction. You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
Ingredients
Each 5ml spoonful of Maalox Suspension contains the active ingredients: Magnesium hydroxide 200mg, aluminum hydroxide dried gel (equivalent to 153mg aluminum hydroxide) and simethicone 20mg. Other ingredients: Butylparaben, flavour, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, propylparaben, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol and water.
