Kaolin Paediatric Mixture is used in relief of diarrhoea & upset stomach in children.
Kaolin Mixture Paediatric removes toxic substances from the digestive system and increases the bulk of solid waste.
Directions
Kaolin Paediatric Mixture Directions: Shake the Bottle Well. For Oral Use. Children up to 1 years old: Use with medical advice for infants under 1 year. 1 x 5ml spoonful Children 1 to 5 years old: 2 x 5ml spoonfuls. Repeat every 4 hours if required. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor.

Ingredients
Each 5ml of the mixture contains: Light Kaolin BP 1.0g ; Sulphur Dioxide (E220), benzoic acid (E210) ; propylene glycol (E1520) ; sucrose: 0.8g in 5ml
Side Effects
Normally there are no side effects, however, hypersensitive children may experience : skin sensitivity and allergic reactions (itching, swelling, vomiting, stomach pain, breathing difficulties). If you notice any of these or other side effects stop using the product and tell your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if your child is taking any other medicines. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor. Rehydration therapy may be necessary because of water and salt loss. Diarrhoea may be a sign of a more serious disease. Contains sucrose. Unsuitable for children with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrose-isomaltase deficiency. Contains sulphur dioxide and benzoic acid which may cause irritation to the eyes, skin and soft tissues of the body and allergic reactions. It may increase the risk of jaundice in the very young. If your child takes too much see a doctor straight away.
