Cosmopore E 7.2cm x 5cm

Cosmopor? E is a sterile, self-adhesive wound dressing made of soft
non woven polyester, with an absorbent viscose pad covered with a non
adherent porous wound contact layer. This is coated with skin friendly
synthetic adhesive.

Cosmopor? E carries the CE mark according to EU directive
93/42/EEC for medical devices. The product is classified as a class I
sterile medical device. A conformity assessment has been performed for
Cosmopor? E and it has been shown to be in compliance with all
applicable requirements of the above mentioned directive.

According to the NICE surgical site infection guidelines a high
MVTR film dressing, such as Hydrofilm?, should be used for the first
48 hours post surgery. An adhesive, island wound dressing, such as
Cosmopor? E is recomended for use 48 hours after surgery.3
