Day Nurse Liquid has been specially formulated to provide a compete daytime cold and flu treatment by quickly providing relief from major cold & flu symptoms without drowsiness. Day Nurse is a daytime cold treatment that effectively relieves symptoms of cold and flu without drowsiness. The carefully balanced ingredients combine to: Reduce Temperature, aches and pains Soothe sore, scratchy throat and relieve sore throat pain Control dry coughs Relieve a blocked or runny nose and so ease the heavy stuffy feeling so often associated with colds during the day .without drowsiness.
How to take Day Nurse Liquid: Adults take 30ml every 4 hours as necessary. Maximum 120ml in 24 hours or 3 doses in 34 hours if a night-time paracetamol containing product is taken before bedtime. Children 6-12 years take 15ml every 4 hours as necessary. Maximum 45ml in 24 hours. Not to be given to children under 6 years
Caution when using Day Nurse Liquid: Do not take with any other cold or decongestant products or other paracetamol containing products or with alcohol. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are under the care of your doctor or receiving prescribed medicines or are pregnant or if symptoms persist. Do not take: For longer than 7 days unless your doctor agrees. If you have live or kidney problems, chronic bronchitis or bronchiectasis. Your doctor will have told you if these apply to you. If you are pregnant or breast feeding. You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
Day Nurse Liquid contains: Each 30 ml dose contains Paracetamol 1000mg, Pholcodine 10mg, Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg. Also includes sucrose 5% ethnanol, liquid glucose and glycerol.
Side affects of Day Nurse Liquid: Paracetamol is usually well tolerated however skin rashes and other allergic reactions occur occasionally with paracetamol. Side effects with Phenylpropanolamine are rare but may cause sleep disturbance, increased heart beat, skin rash, dry mouth, nose or throat or difficulty in passing urine. Rarely hallucinations have been reported. Side effects are not common with Dextromethorphan and when they occur are usually mild. Occasionally dizziness, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting may occur. If you are concerned stop taking the product and consult your pharmacist.
